West Ham United visit Anfield on Saturday looking to record consecutive Premier League wins for the first time this season.

The Hammers registered their first victory in five matches by beating Watford 2-0 at the London Stadium two weeks ago - a result that means they sit four points clear of the relegation zone before the weekend's fixtures.

Form...

A run of one defeat in their last eight Premier League outings has afforded West Ham a little breathing space in the bottom half of the table, while also putting them within six points of seventh-placed Burnley.

However, during Friday's pre-match press conference, Moyes struck a note of caution.

"The trap door is still not far away enough yet. If we do as well in the next bunch of games as we have done in the last few then we can look up," said the Scot.

The season so far...

A start to the campaign that saw West Ham win only two of their opening 11 top-flight matches resulted in Slaven Bilic leaving the club following Liverpool's 4-1 victory at the London Stadium in early November.

Former Everton and Manchester United boss Moyes took over with the Hammers in the bottom three. However, a record of five wins and six draws from 16 Premier League fixtures since his arrival has seen them rise to 12th.

Pre-match quotes...

Moyes: "It's a tough game, but we're in a good run of form ourselves. It will not be easy to stop Mane, Salah and Firmino. We will try to contain them - they have other players of course but those three can create on their own. We'll go there and hope that with the players we have in our team we will cause them problems as well."

Winston Reid: "You know when you go to Liverpool that it’s going to be tough, but you have to go there believing you can get something out of the game."

Last time versus the Reds...

A Mohamed Salah double, along with a rare Joel Matip goal and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's first Premier League strike for the club, earned Liverpool a comfortable victory in this season's reverse fixture.
