Liverpool FC's official charity, the LFC Foundation, held two half-term activity camps for local youngsters throughout the Easter break.

A total of 140 children – boys and girls aged between four and 14 years - attended the multi-sports sessions at Anfield Sports and Community Centre (ASCC) and Rainhill High School.

At ASCC, participants enjoyed a series of activities including football drills, dodgeball, handball, glow-in-the-dark sports and fundamental skills and teamwork training – all supported by the James Milner Foundation (JMF).

JMF donated £16,000 to the LFC Foundation in 2016, and the money was used to fund a series of three-day multi-sports and activity camps at ASCC during school half-term breaks.

Like the LFC Foundation, JMF promotes healthy activities among young people across the UK by focusing on the development, improvement and provision of sporting opportunities.

Meanwhile, children attending the Rainhill High School sessions took part in a range of multi-sport activities such as football drills, handball and multi-skills.
