Three Academy players will join the LFC Foundation to support the Owen McVeigh Foundation family fun day at David Lloyd Knowsley on Saturday.

The special event includes a whole host of fun activities and entertainment, as detailed in the poster below, with entry just £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.

Academy trio Elijah Dixon-Bonner, Jordan Hunter and Glen McAuley will be in attendance, too, to show their skills in LFC Foundation coaching sessions.

The Owen McVeigh Foundation was established in honour of Owen McVeigh, a passionate Red who tragically passed away at the age of 11 shortly after being diagnosed with leukaemia in December 2015.

Its aim is to enrich the lives of local children suffering with cancer by providing them and their families with money-cannot-buy experiences.

A special T-shirt in tribute to Owen’s memory will remain on sale at Liverpool FC’s three city stores and online throughout September, with all proceeds going to the Owen McVeigh Foundation.
