The LFC Foundation held an inclusive half-term activities camp for local families last week.

The five-day Premier League/BT Inclusion event, held at Woodchurch High School on the Wirral, saw disabled and non-disabled people of all ages come together to participate in a range of sports, including boccia, curling, goalball and football.

The project - which is funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund in partnership with BT Group - aims to bring families together, build stronger relationships and encourage participants to become more physically active.

Andrea Cooper, head of the LFC Foundation, said: “The Premier League/BT Inclusion project strives to create participation opportunities and inspire disabled people through sport.

“Our half-term camps provide a fun and inclusive environment for children and adults of all abilities to enjoy sport and build stronger family relationships.

“It’s great to see so many families enjoying the various activities on offer and learning how to become more physically active in their everyday lives.”
