U23s to face Boro in Premier League Cup last 16
Liverpool U23s will face Middlesbrough away from home in the last 16 of the Premier League Cup.
The young Reds sealed progress to the competition’s knockout stages courtesy of a 4-0 victory over Stoke City last Sunday, with Dominic Solanke bagging a hat-trick and Bobby Adekanye the other goal.
And the reward for Neil Critchley’s side is a trip to the north east to take on Boro.
